Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw (Elizabeth Alice MacGraw) is a American animal rights activist, author as well as a model and actress. Ali MacGraw is known for movies such as Love Story, Goodbye Columbus and The Getaway. She was raised by an artistic family in New York and wanted to pursue a career in art. She began working as a photo assistant later moved into modeling and acting. Her first two movies were noticed, and she was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was nominated for the Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films she was deemed the most successful female in box office history. Her footprints from 1972 and autograph were recorded on the wall of Grauman's Chinese Theater. Other films she has appeared in are The Getaway Convoy Players as and the television miniseries The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw is married three times.
