Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a performer, writer, and actress in the United States for over forty years. Most famously, she is known for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV show Gilligan's Island). The stage debut of her career started in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. Then, in 1956 she had her breakthrough on Broadway in Li'l Abner's musical. In the year 1957, she released her debut music album named It's time to Tina. Louise debuted as a performer in Hollywood as God's Little Acre a drama which was made in 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the movie. When she was in New York, Louise enrolled at Actors Studio and began her friendship with Lee Strasberg. The next notable role she played in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS was the first to sign her on for in 1964. Louise was able to balance her acting career across Broadway television and Hollywood acting in more realistic roles, as opposed to her perception of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series as well as Helen Magnus, but in the last few years she's earned a reputation as a director on several popular TV shows like Supernatural. Her family moved to Essex to Toronto, where she spent childhood and adolescence. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has remained in Toronto ever since.
